Mechanical CAD operator

Seegapak is looking for detail-oriented Mechanical CAD Operator to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D technical drawings, revising design layouts, and supporting engineers in delivering high-quality MEP project documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of engineering drawings are essential.

• Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
• Convert design concepts, sketches, and markups into professional engineering drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer comments and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company drafting standards.

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and BIM teams to ensure drawing consistency.
• Incorporate design changes and resolve drafting conflicts in coordination with project engineers.
• Ensure all project drawings are properly organized and version controlled.

• Prepare and maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
• Archive and manage project files according to company document control procedures.

• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project coordinators to deliver accurate drafting support.
• Communicate effectively regarding drawing updates, revisions, and technical requirements.

• Complete drafting assignments within project schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

• Stay updated with AutoCAD features, drafting standards, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to improving drafting workflows, templates, and documentation processes.

• Continuously enhance technical drafting skills and AutoCAD proficiency.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential).
• Basic knowledge of Revit or MicroStation is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
